Privacy Policy

Effective

Overview

Kerf is designed to protect your privacy by default. All of your project data — stock sheets, cut lists, solved layouts — lives on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your data. We do not track you. We do not show ads.

Information we collect

Kerf itself does not collect any information. The app does not transmit your projects, usage patterns, identifiers, or any other data off your device.

If you choose to email our support address, we receive the email address you send from and whatever you write in your message. We use that information only to respond to your support request.

Information we do not collect

Kerf does not collect any of the following:

  • Names, addresses, or other contact information
  • Device identifiers
  • Usage analytics or telemetry
  • Crash reports
  • Location data
  • Photos or camera access
  • Contacts or calendar data

Third-party services

Kerf does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking services.

Data retention

Your Kerf projects remain on your device until you delete them from within the app or uninstall Kerf. Because we do not have a server, there is no retention period to disclose and nothing to export or delete on request.

Your rights

Since Kerf does not collect personal data, there is no personal data for us to provide, correct, or delete on request. If you have questions about your rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other privacy laws, contact us at the address below.

Children's privacy

Kerf is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will post the new version at this URL and update the effective date above. Material changes will also be noted in the app update release notes on the App Store.
